Facebook's New Reactions Feature - How it Works

Facebook Introduces New Reactions Feature for Individual Posts
On 24 February 2016, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on his Facebook Page that Facebook is launching new feature of Reactions for individual posts worldwide. Though the feature was launched but not worldwide on the same day. I can't say with surety about other places of this beautiful world but in Pakistan, the feature was launched on 26 February 2016, two days after the day of announcement.

Facebook Introduces New Reactions Feature for individual Posts

That is what Mark Zuckerberg said about this new exciting feature:
"Today is our worldwide launch of Reactions - The new Like button with more ways to express yourself.
Not every moment you want to share is happy. Sometimes you want to share something sad or frustrating. Our community has been asking for a dislike button for years, but not because people want to tell friends they don't like their posts. People wanted to express empathy and make it comfortable to share a wider range of emotions.
I've spent a lot of time thinking about the right way to do this with our team. One of my goals was to make it as simple as pressing and holding the Like button.
The result is Reactions, which allow you to express love, laughter, surprise, sadness or anger. Love is the most popular reaction so far, which feels about right to me!"

HOW IT WORKS
With this new exciting feature, facebook users will be able to express their feeling about any post with just one click. All they have to do is hover the mouse cursor over the previously available Like button and select the six available options. Basically we can divide this feature into two parts: one is the redesigned blue-colored like button and second is the set of 5 reactions that is a new concept for facebook users for individual posts. The new five reactions include:
1) Love
2) Haha
3) Wow
4) Sad
5) Angry

If someone likes your post, you'll get the same notification as you did in past i.e., "Someone(name) liked your post". But if someone selects any of the newly launched reactions instead of simply liking it, you will get the notification as "Someone(name) reacted to your post".

It is also worth mentioning that you can either like a post or choose a reaction but you can't do both! For a better understanding, Let's say that you find an informative post about a pitiable situation. So you like the post as it was informative for you; for the content in it you try to give your reaction of sadness and select the reaction of Sad. Doing so will undo your action of liking the post.

The second thing that might be of interest is it doesn't matter that whether someone likes your post or give any reaction even angry, all will be included together; along with one another in a single line under each post. To understand this, Let's say that 25 people like your post and 9 people give different reactions (love, haha, wow, sad or angry), the number of people reacted on your post will be 34(25+9) as liking your post is also a reaction.

According to Facebook, the response of people so far on this feature is appreciable and positive and we hope that too.

Mohammad Irfan is in United Arab Emirates these days and playing Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Islamabad United. Yesterday a video of approximately half minute became viral on social media in which Muhammad Irfan catches a flying bird called seagull on a boat with his hands.

Mohammad Irfan is the tallest first-class cricketer with height 7'1". So having such long arms, it was not so difficult for him to catch a flying seagull. Though it requires sharp senses and some guts too to catch a flying seagull and Mohammad Irfan has got both.

After watching the video, you can see that it did not happen unexpectedly as he was waiting for the moment when a seagull was in the range of his arm. As soon as that moment came, he caught a flying seagull with an electrifying movement. He left all the people stunned who were with him on the cruise.
